Aruvikkuzhi is a scenic destination located in Chellarkovil, Chakkupallam Panchayath, in the Idukki district of Kerala. Situated on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, it is known for the stunning Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls, the main attraction of the area. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking views of the agricultural lands of Theni district and Cumbum.

Developed by the Government of Kerala under DTPC, the first phase of development is complete, and the site is now open to the public. The second phase of development will include a check dam, pedal boats, and a watchtower. Aruvikkuzhi is also part of Kerala’s Spice Tourism Circuit, making it a must-visit destination for nature and adventure lovers.

Except June and July all other times are good to visit this place. Entry is allowed from 9.00AM to 6.00PM. Passes issued for 2 hours which cost Rs. 26.
